Kniteivest I'm struggling to listen to anything else other than Ba'al at the minute. This is pure excellence. Great inner head therapy. If I was to choose a favourite track then One Under The Sun would tick that box.

fatcarl2 I found this whole EP a bit of a 'Grower'. But so glad I stuck with it, absolutely superb! Favorite track: Black River.

Joseph Hawker Ba'al are notable for their pure visceral intensity, and how they render this into a harmonious, congruent approach of songwriting where every single member sounds like they're giving it their all and yet every single moment spews with intent and purpose. It's hugely promising for a first recording and makes the wait for an album all the more unbearable. Favorite track: Days Of Yore.

This one really goes deep. Tremendously heavy and bleak, yet crushingly groovy as well. You can easily see these guys destroying any venue they'd hit live with this. The heavy hitting slow to mid-tempo tunes are sort of tranceinducing. It's very easy to listen to it multiple times in a row or even get lost in it totally. mourner
